Meet Planetarium Leader Carlos Miranda

Carlos Miranda is at the forefront of science education as the Planetarium Manager at P-Tech High School in the Paterson School District, New Jersey. Beyond managing the on-site planetarium, Carlos spearheads the planetarium's "Road Show," a mobile initiative that delivers captivating planetarium experiences to students throughout the district using a Digitalis portable dome. With an EdD in Instructional Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and extensive experience as a science educator, Carlos is uniquely equipped to "move science forward" in Paterson.
