Skyworld Indonesia

SKYWORLD Indonesia is a space and astronomy edu-tourism destination, located in the SKYWORLD Building in Jakarta, Indonesia. The building itself stretches over a total area of ±20,000 square meters. It has two space/astronomy-related main facilities, a planetarium and a space and astronomy exhibition site that includes the Rocketarium (a rocket and spacecraft replica/miniature museum) and hosts special events like water rocket practices and sky observation using telescopes.

SKYWORLD has a total staff of 50 who function as the main facilities operators, as operating & services management, sales & marketing, utilities & supporting facilities’ operators and so forth, while the team especially responsible for Digitarium’s products sales & marketing team consist of 4 people.

SKYWORLD itself has been using Digitarium models such as the DELTA 1, then DELTA 3 and the current KAPPA for its planetarium shows. The planetarium's capacity is 200 seats. The planetarium team has helped the sales of Digitarium models-from DELTA 3 to LAMBDA 2-to other parties in the Indonesian market.
